Created with the aim of protecting the region"s flora, fauna and natural beauty, the park is a true ecological treasure, part of the coastal marine and cerrado biomes. Here we find unique ecosystems such as mangroves, sandbanks and dunes, moulded by strong winds and regular rainfall.
