Established in 1885, it"s the oldest national park in Canada and offers a blend of towering peaks, glacial lakes and wide open spaces. In winter, the park is transformed into a snowy paradise, as seen in today"s image. Frozen lakes like Lake Louise turn into skating rinks, and skiers flock to the slopes of Sunshine Village and Lake Louise Ski Resort.
